Confirm compatibility with your existing HotGrips Sports controller and wiring harness before fitting — this grip is not interchangeable with other HotGrips series.
If adhesive is required during installation, allow it to cure fully before switching on the heated function.
Clean the grip with a damp cloth only; avoid petrol, solvents, or aerosol lubricants on the grip surface, as these degrade the rubber compound.
Avoid running the heated grip function for extended periods with the engine off, as it draws directly from the battery.
Inspect the wiring connector and the heating element lead for damage before and after installation.
If you are not confident in the installation, have a qualified motorcycle technician fit the grip to ensure the electrical connection is secure.
