The Oxford Screamer7 is an attack-activated alarm disc lock that combines a physical deterrent with a loud audible one. Motion and shock sensors trigger a 100dB siren the moment the lock is disturbed, so an attempt on your bike draws attention straight away.
It suits riders who park in the street, at work or in shared garages and want something compact enough to carry under the seat or in a tail bag. The push-to-lock action means you fit it and press to arm without needing the key, and a water-resistant keyway cover helps keep grit and moisture out of the barrel between uses.
The 7mm locking pin fits a wide range of brake discs, and power comes from a long-life lithium CR2 battery. Supplied in black.

- Check your brake disc has a hole of at least 7mm before fitting — the locking pin will not pass through smaller apertures.
- Fit the lock over the disc and push the pin home to lock and arm; use the key to unlock.
- Always remove the lock before riding off, and use a reminder cord or a visual cue on the handlebar so you don't pull away with it fitted.
- Avoid clamping the lock where it can foul the caliper, fork leg or swingarm as the wheel turns.
- Keep the keyway cover closed whenever the lock is in use so water and road grit stay out of the barrel.
- The lock is water-resistant, not waterproof — don't submerge it or aim a pressure washer directly at the body or keyway.
- Wipe the body clean with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly before storing; rinse off salt and grit after coastal or wet-weather use.
- Keep the locking pin and its housing free of dirt and grit so the pin seats fully.
- Replace the lithium CR2 battery when the siren sounds weak or the lock will not arm reliably, and fit a fresh cell before long periods of daily use.
- Store the lock dry and remove the battery if it will be left unused for an extended period, to guard against leakage.
- Keep the spare key somewhere separate from the bike.
