Oxford HotGrips Wrap – Advanced Heated Overgrips

The Oxford HotGrips Wrap is a heated overgrip set that wraps around your bike's existing grips rather than replacing them, so you keep the original feel of your controls and can remove the heating at the end of winter if you want to.

Made for commuters, tourers and anyone riding through cold mornings, the Wrap supplies constant heat to the hands with two selectable heat settings and a weatherproof design built to live outdoors on the bike. An easy-use controller unit with waterproof connectors handles switching, and a mounting bracket is supplied so the controller can be positioned within easy reach.

Check your grip diameter before fitting — the Wrap suits grips up to 32mm; oversized or heavily contoured grips will not wrap correctly.
Follow the wiring diagram supplied in the box and connect the loom to the battery, routing cables clear of the steering lock, exhaust, brake lines and any moving parts.
Secure the controller with the supplied bracket where it is easy to reach with a gloved hand but not obstructing the controls.
Make sure the waterproof connectors are fully mated and clicked home before riding, so water cannot track into the contacts.
Fit the wraps so the join sits on the underside or away from your palm, and check the ends are held firmly — re-tension if they begin to creep.
Turn the heat off when you stop and switch the ignition off to avoid drawing down the battery.
Use the lower heat setting for milder days and long rides; running the higher setting continuously is rarely needed with insulated gloves.
Clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap only — avoid solvents, petrol, chain cleaner and pressure washing near the connectors or controller.
Inspect the wiring, connectors and grip surfaces periodically for chafing, cracking or corrosion, and stop using the set if any cable damage is found.
If you remove them for the warmer months, store the wraps flat in a dry place out of direct sunlight and cap or protect the loose connectors.
