The Oxford EL109 is a short adapter lead that joins a standard SAE plug to a female Oximiser connector, letting you link Oxford Oximiser-style leads and accessories to SAE-terminated gear.
It suits riders who already have an SAE lead fitted to the bike, or an SAE-equipped charger, and need it to mate with the Oximiser connector format without rewiring anything. A simple plug-in solution to keep one charging setup working across bikes and battery leads.

- Match the connectors before pushing them together — do not force a misaligned plug.
- Check the lead, plugs and insulation for damage, melting or exposed conductors before each use; replace it if any is found.
- Keep the terminals clean and dry, and wipe away moisture or dirt before connecting.
- Disconnect the adapter and stow the bike-side lead before riding — never leave it dangling near hot exhausts, the chain or steering.
- Route the lead clear of moving parts and sharp edges, and avoid pinching it under bodywork or the seat.
- Pull on the connector body, not the cable, when unplugging.
- Store coiled loosely in a dry place, out of direct sunlight, without tight kinks.
- Use only with battery chargers/maintainers rated for the equipment you are connecting, and follow the charger's own instructions.
