The OptiMate USB O-114 is a weatherproof dual-output USB charger that plugs straight into your motorcycle's 12V DIN (BIKE/Hella-style) power socket. Its 90° elbow plug keeps the lead tucked in close, and the 20cm adapter puts a USB-A and a USB-C port within easy reach of a tank bag or bar-mounted device.

It suits riders on BMW, Triumph, Victory and other machines fitted with a standard DIN accessory socket who want to run or recharge a phone, GPS, action camera or tablet on the move. Up to 3300mA is available from the USB-C port, with the current shared when both ports are in use, so two devices can be charged at once.

Built-in battery protection is the standout: the charger monitors system voltage and switches itself off an hour after the engine stops, or sooner if the battery falls below 12.4V, so it won't flatten the bike while it's parked. Sealed circuitry and capped USB sockets that seal around the cable make it happy in wet weather. This is the current model, superseding the earlier 4-O-105.

  • Dual output: 1x USB-A and 1x USB-C in one weatherproof adapter
  • 3300mA @ 5V total output, delivered from the USB-C port or shared across both ports
  • 90° elbow DIN (Ø12mm) BIKE plug suits BMW, Triumph and Victory accessory sockets
  • Charges two devices at once — phone, GPS, camera or tablet
  • Fully automatic operation with no switches to set
  • Vehicle battery protection: switches off 1 hour after the engine stops, or if voltage drops below 12.4V
  • Standby mode monitors voltage and restarts once the battery rises above 13.3V
  • Short-circuit, over-voltage and overheat protection
  • Works with 12V lead-acid (Pb/AGM) and 12.8V lithium (LiFePO4/LFP) batteries
  • Fully enclosed circuitry with blue LED status indicator
  • Sealing cap design lets the socket seal around any standard USB cable
  • 20cm (8") lead for flexible routing

  • Plug the 90° DIN connector firmly into your bike's 12V BIKE/DIN accessory socket and rotate the elbow so the lead routes away from steering movement and hot components.
  • The unit is fully automatic — the blue LED shows USB power is available; no switches or settings are required.
  • For unlimited charging, run the engine so system voltage sits above 13.3V; with the engine off the charger delivers about one hour of output before dropping to standby.
  • If it has gone to standby, start the engine and let voltage rise above 13.3V to bring the USB output back on.
  • Use the supplied sealing caps: leave a cap fitted over any unused port, and push the cap down around the USB cable when a device is connected so the socket stays sealed against water and grit.
  • Avoid high-pressure washing directly at the USB ports or the DIN socket, and let everything dry before removing a cable.
  • Wipe the housing with a soft damp cloth only; keep solvents, petrol and degreasers away from the plastics and seals.
  • Check the DIN plug contacts periodically for corrosion or road grime and keep them clean and dry for a reliable connection.
  • Unplug the adapter and store it in a dry place if the bike is being laid up for a long period.
  • Don't attempt to open the sealed housing or repair the lead — the circuitry is fully enclosed and not user-serviceable.
