The O'Neal Rider Pro Women's Boot is an entry-level off-road boot built on the fit and function of the earlier O'Neal Rider, updated with a fresh look while keeping the protective properties riders knew it for. It suits motocross, enduro, trail and ATV riding, and is a sensible first boot for women stepping up from trainers or older gear.
Protection comes from a metal toe and sole guard at the front, metal and nylon reinforcement inside the sole for a stable platform on the pegs, and a synthetic heat shield on the inner leg. A stitched welt sole construction keeps the boot balanced underfoot without rocking, while the air mesh interior, reinforced heel and cushioned insole handle comfort over a long day. Straps and buckles are available as replacement parts, so a damaged closure doesn't end the boot's life.
Please note: larger sizes in the Women's Rider Pro use a four-buckle closure rather than the three-buckle version shown in some product imagery.

- Fasten the buckles from the bottom up and adjust each strap so the boot is snug through the ankle without pinching; re-check the tension after the first few minutes of riding.
- Knock off loose mud and grit after every ride — dried dirt works into the buckle mechanisms and stitching and accelerates wear.
- Clean with lukewarm water, a mild soap and a soft brush or cloth, then wipe over; avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and harsh detergents.
- Air dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts, as concentrated heat can distort and harden the materials.
- Remove the insole to dry separately after wet or muddy rides, and loosen the straps so the interior can breathe out.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry the boots.
- Inspect the buckles, straps and stitching regularly; replacement straps and buckles are available as spare parts, so damaged hardware can be swapped out rather than replacing the boot.
- Check the sole grip and the metal toe guard for wear, and retire the boot if the sole is worn smooth or the impact structure has been damaged in a crash.
- Allow a short break-in period of a few rides for the boot to soften and mould around your foot and calf.
- Store upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally with the buckles lightly fastened so the boot holds its shape.
