The Ogio Tail Bag 2.0 is a universal-fit rear seat bag for riders who want luggage on the bike without racks, brackets or bike-specific hardware. It straps over the pillion seat or tail section using a webbing mount system, and the main compartment expands from 21 L to 30 L when you need to carry more on the way home.

Built from 1000D poly and 400D nylon with a low, streamlined profile, it suits commuting, weekend rides and light touring. A textured neoprene non-slip pad sits between the bag and your bodywork to help protect paint, a hidden rain hood tucks away until the weather turns, and a reinforced grab handle makes it easy to lift off and carry once you've parked.

Position the bag over the pillion seat or tail section, then tension the webbing straps evenly on both sides; recheck tension after the first few kilometres and at each fuel stop.
Make sure the neoprene base pad and your bodywork are both clean and free of grit before mounting — trapped dirt is what scuffs paint, not the pad itself.
Route and secure all loose strap ends away from the exhaust, chain, wheel and rear light or indicators before riding.
Pack heavier items low and towards the seat, and keep the load within what your subframe and seat can safely support.
Deploy the hidden rain hood before you ride into wet weather; treat it as a cover rather than a seal, and use dry bags inside for electronics or documents in sustained rain.
Spot clean by hand with mild soap, warm water and a soft brush, then rinse; avoid solvents, bleach, pressure washers, machine washing and tumble drying.
Let the bag and the rain hood air dry completely, out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat, before packing them away.
Store unexpanded and loosely packed in a cool, dry place — storing it damp encourages mildew and odours.
Keep zips clear of dirt and grit so they run freely, and inspect the webbing, buckles and stitching for fraying or wear before longer trips.
