The NOCO GENIUS 2X4 is a four-bank smart battery charger designed to maintain and charge up to four 6V or 12V batteries simultaneously. It suits workshops, garages, and enthusiasts who run multiple vehicles or seasonal machines — motorcycles, ATVs, cars, boats, or lawn equipment — and need a single unit to keep them all ready.
Each of the four independent banks delivers 2 amps, allowing batteries to be connected and charged at their own pace without interfering with one another. The GENIUS series is built around NOCO's automatic charging logic, which adjusts output to suit the battery's state rather than applying a fixed charge rate throughout.

- Always connect the charger clamps to the battery terminals before plugging the unit into mains power — positive clamp first, then negative.
- Disconnect in reverse order: unplug from mains first, then remove negative clamp, then positive.
- Ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion before connecting; a poor connection can affect charging accuracy.
- Do not attempt to charge a frozen or physically damaged battery.
- Operate the charger in a dry, well-ventilated area — avoid enclosed spaces where hydrogen gas from lead-acid batteries could accumulate.
- The unit is suitable for unattended long-term maintenance charging; automatic float/maintenance mode prevents overcharging during storage.
- Each bank operates independently — batteries in different states of charge can be connected simultaneously without affecting one another.
- Store the charger in a cool, dry location when not in use; coil cables loosely to avoid damage to the insulation.
