Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soap solution; never use petrol-based solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaners as these degrade the shell and finish.
If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it in cool water with a mild detergent and allow it to air-dry fully before reinserting.
Inspect the retention strap and buckle before each ride; replace if fraying or the buckle does not click securely.
Replace the helmet immediately following any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — internal EPS foam is a single-use material.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and extreme heat; prolonged UV and chemical exposure degrades shell materials.
Avoid resting the helmet on a mirror or fuel tank for extended periods, as vibration and surface contact can scratch the matte finish.
Do not paint, apply stickers with solvent-based adhesives, or use aftermarket visors not intended for this model, as these may compromise structural integrity.
