- Never touch the inner face of the lens with bare fingers — oils from skin degrade any lens coating.
- Rinse mud and grit from the frame and strap under cool, clean water; do not use pressure hoses directly on the lens.
- Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free goggle cloth using light, straight strokes — never circular motions, which cause micro-scratches.
- Allow goggles to air-dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight; UV exposure can degrade the frame and lens over time.
- Store goggles in a goggle bag or hard case to protect the lens from scratching during transport.
- Inspect the foam surround before each ride for tears or compression set that could reduce the seal and allow debris ingress.
- Check strap elasticity regularly; replace the strap if it has lost tension or shows signs of fraying.
- Do not use solvents, petrol, or glass cleaners on the lens or frame — use only water or a cleaner formulated for goggle lenses.
