- Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap — avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners, or abrasive pads that can damage the finish.
- Clean the visor with a dedicated visor cleaner or warm soapy water; do not wipe a dry visor as dust particles can scratch the surface.
- Remove and hand-wash the inner liner and cheek pads (if removable) according to any care labels; allow to air-dry completely before reassembling.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fuel vapours, which can degrade foam and liner materials over time.
- Avoid placing the helmet face-down on hard surfaces; use the provided bag or box for storage if supplied.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if external damage is not visible — internal EPS foam may be compromised.
- As a general guideline, consider replacing your helmet every five years from the manufacture date, or sooner if the fit, shell, or liner shows signs of deterioration.
