- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap solution; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or strong detergents.
- Clean the visor with a dedicated visor cleaner or mild soapy water applied with a soft cloth; avoid dry wiping, which can cause fine scratches.
- If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash in cool water with a gentle detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before refitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
- Do not apply paint, adhesive stickers or chemical treatments to the shell, as these may degrade the structural material.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, exhaust heat and extreme temperatures.
- Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) regularly for wear, fraying or damage; replace if integrity is in doubt.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even when no external damage is visible — internal EPS liner damage is not visible to the naked eye.
- Consult the manufacturer's documentation for the recommended service life and replace the helmet accordingly, regardless of visible condition.
