Wipe the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap; avoid petrol, solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaning products as these degrade the shell and finish.
Clean the peak and visor with warm soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth to prevent scratching the surface.
Allow the helmet to air dry naturally at room temperature; do not use a hair dryer or place it near a heat source such as a radiator or engine.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals, which can degrade the EPS foam liner over time.
Replace the helmet immediately following any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — EPS foam does not recover after compression.
Check the peak mounting screws and chin strap buckle before each ride and re-tighten or replace any hardware that is loose or worn.
Replace the helmet no later than five years from the date of first use, or sooner if the interior padding shows signs of compression, deterioration or an unusual odour.
