A genuine Nelson-Rigg replacement centre stiffener for the SE-3050 Sierra Dry saddlebags. The stiffener sits inside the bag to help it hold its shape, keeping the sides square and the bag sitting neatly against the bike whether it is fully packed or running light.
Supplied as a pair, so both bags can be refreshed at once. It is the part to order if an original insert has been lost, bent or damaged, or if you are rebuilding a well-travelled set of saddlebags rather than replacing them.
Fitment note: the SE-3050 has been produced over several versions. If you have an older set and are unsure which insert it takes, contact us with your bag details before ordering.

- Confirm your saddlebag version before ordering — the SE-3050 has run through several revisions, so contact us with your bag details if you are unsure which insert it takes.
- Fit the stiffener before packing so it sits flat and fully unfolded inside the bag, not creased or angled across the contents.
- Pack heavier items low and against the stiffened face so the bag keeps its shape and does not sag onto the exhaust or wheel.
- Avoid overstuffing the saddlebag; forcing the insert to bow permanently will shorten its life.
- Remove the insert if you need to clean inside the bag, then wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap — no solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Dry the insert completely before refitting so moisture is not trapped inside the saddlebag liner.
- Store the inserts flat rather than rolled or folded when the bags are off the bike, and keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight and heat.
- Inspect periodically for cracks, sharp creases or permanent bends, and replace if the insert no longer holds the bag square.
