- Fit the cover only after the engine and exhaust have fully cooled to avoid heat damage to the cover material.
- Align the heat-shield panels with the exhaust area before draping the cover fully over the motorcycle.
- Thread a cable lock through the integrated lock loop and around a fixed point on the frame to deter theft of the cover.
- Use the tie-down loops with bungee cords or soft straps in exposed or windy locations to prevent the cover from lifting.
- Clean the cover by hand-washing in cold water with a mild detergent; do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
- Allow the cover to dry completely before folding and storing it in the supplied storage bag to prevent mildew.
- Avoid prolonged contact with bird droppings or tree sap — spot-clean promptly with a damp cloth.
- Store the folded cover in its bag in a cool, dry location away from UV exposure when not in use.
- Inspect seams and heat-shield panels periodically for wear; replace the cover if waterproofing or structural integrity is compromised.

This is the cover that I have been looking for! I have been through so many "affordable" bike covers that they become very expensive. I have to keep my bikes outdoors so the cheap ones fall to pieces within 6 months it's a classic case of false economy. I recommend getting one that's a little bit smaller than you think you'll need, they are very roomy. A real quality product 5 stars!
