Motul C4 Chain Lube Factory Line is a premium aerosol chain lubricant from Motul's Factory Line range — the brand's top-tier product series developed with motorsport in mind. It is designed for use on sealed motorcycle drive chains, including O-ring, X-ring, and Z-ring types.

- Shake the aerosol can well before each use.
- Apply only to a clean chain — remove excess dirt and old lube with a chain cleaner before lubricating.
- Do not apply immediately after a ride; allow the chain to cool to avoid accelerated solvent evaporation.
- Hold the nozzle close to the inner surface of the chain and apply while slowly rotating the rear wheel to coat all links evenly.
- Allow the lubricant a few minutes to penetrate and settle before riding.
- Wipe away any excess lube from the outer plates and O-rings with a clean rag to reduce fling-off onto the tyre and wheel.
- Reapply after every wash, after riding in wet conditions, and every 500–800 km as a general guide — adjust based on riding conditions.
- Store the can upright in a cool, dry location away from heat sources and open flame — the contents are pressurised and flammable.
- Do not pierce or incinerate the can, even when empty.
