Motul 300V Factory Line Road Racing 10W-40 is a 100% synthetic, Ester Core four-stroke engine oil developed from Motul's long involvement in top-level road racing. It is formulated for riders who want consistent power, torque and clutch feel under sustained high loads and high oil temperatures.

The double ester base gives the oil film strong polarity and resistance to shear, so oil pressure stays stable and internal friction is reduced without upsetting a wet clutch. The 10W-40 grade suits engines that see fuel dilution and high operating temperatures, making it a common choice for track days, race weekends and hard-ridden sports and road bikes.

Supplied in a 4 litre bottle. Always check your owner's manual for the correct viscosity grade, oil specification and capacity before use.

Confirm the viscosity grade, oil specification and sump capacity in your motorcycle's owner's manual before filling — this is a 10W-40 four-stroke oil and is not suitable for engines that require a different grade or specification.
Suitable for engines with a wet clutch; the MA2 rating means it will not cause clutch slip in bikes calling for a JASO MA/MA2 oil.
Drain the old oil with the engine at normal operating temperature so it flows freely and carries more contaminants out, then allow it to fully drain before refitting the sump plug.
Replace the oil filter and the sump plug sealing washer at each oil change, and torque the plug to the figure given in your service manual.
Fill through the filler cap rather than the inspection window, then check the level on level ground following the method in your manual (dipstick or sight glass, engine warm or cold as specified) and top up in small amounts.
After filling, run the engine briefly, switch off, let it settle, then re-check the level and inspect the filter and sump plug for leaks.
Do not mix with other oils or add aftermarket friction modifiers or oil additives — this dilutes the formulation and can affect clutch behaviour.
Follow the service intervals in your owner's manual; bikes used for track work, racing or sustained high-rpm running are generally serviced more often than road-only machines.
Store the bottle upright, tightly sealed, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight, and keep it away from children and animals.
Dispose of used oil, filters and empty containers at a council waste-oil collection point or recycling facility — never into drains, soil or general waste.
