The Motion Pro Cable Luber is a purpose-built hand tool for lubricating motorcycle control cables, including throttle, clutch and brake cables. It clamps securely around the end of a cable housing to create a seal, allowing aerosol lubricant to be injected directly and forced through the full length of the cable.
Suited to home mechanics and workshop technicians alike, it removes the guesswork and mess of improvised methods and ensures consistent lubricant penetration for smooth, reliable cable operation.

- Detach the cable from its adjuster and slide the end free of the housing before fitting the tool.
- Clamp the Cable Luber around the cable at the housing end and tighten the clamp screw until a firm seal is achieved — hand pressure only; do not overtighten as this can crush the cable housing.
- Insert the nozzle of an aerosol cable lubricant into the tool's port and spray until lubricant emerges from the opposite end of the cable.
- Remove the tool and wipe away any excess lubricant from the cable, adjuster threads and surrounding components before refitting.
- Work the cable through its full range of motion several times after lubrication to distribute lubricant evenly.
- Inspect the cable for kinks, fraying or corrosion while it is removed; replace the cable if any damage is found rather than lubricating a worn cable.
- After use, wipe the tool clean of lubricant residue and store in a clean, dry location to keep the clamping and sealing surfaces free of grit.
