The Mitas Factory Tyre Sticker is a rub-on transfer decal carrying the Mitas name, designed to be burnished onto the sidewall of your tyre for a factory-team finish.

It is supplied as a single sticker, so order one per tyre (or two if you want both sidewalls of a wheel done). A simple, low-cost way to tidy up a race bike, a fresh set of hoops or a workshop display.

  • Wash the tyre sidewall with warm soapy water and let it dry completely before applying — tyre shine, silicone dressings and mould release agents will stop the transfer adhering.
  • Apply to a clean, dry tyre in mild conditions; avoid applying in the cold, in the wet, or on a sidewall that is hot from riding or direct sun.
  • Position the sheet carefully and hold it still — once the transfer contacts the rubber it is very difficult to reposition.
  • Rub firmly and evenly across the whole design with a smooth blunt tool (a pen lid, spoon handle or burnishing stick) until the lettering shows through the backing.
  • Peel the backing sheet away slowly at a shallow angle; if any part of the design lifts with it, lay it back down and burnish that section again.
  • Apply to the sidewall only — never to the tread or contact patch.
  • Let the sticker settle before washing the bike, and keep high-pressure washers, solvents and degreasers off the decal.
  • Single use only — the transfer cannot be lifted and reapplied once it is down.
  • Store unused sheets flat, out of direct sunlight, and do not fold or crease them.
