Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre fitter using correct beading equipment.
Check that the size and 54S load/speed rating are approved for your motorcycle before fitting, and observe the tread's directional rotation arrow.
Ride gently for the first 100-150 km to scrub in the new tread surface before using full grip, braking and lean angles.
Check and adjust inflation pressure when the tyre is cold, using the pressure specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or on the swingarm/chain-guard placard.
Inspect the tyre regularly for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, sidewall cracking and uneven or scalloped wear.
Replace the tyre before the tread reaches the minimum legal depth, and replace both front and rear where wear or age makes it sensible.
Clean with mild soap and water only; keep chain lube, brake cleaner, solvents and silicone tyre dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and petrol or oil.
Take care on wet, painted, metal and gravel surfaces until the tread is fully worn in, and re-check pressures after any puncture repair.
