The Motobatt MB10U is a sealed 12V AGM powersports battery built for motorcycles, ATVs and other small-engine machines that are started often and ridden hard. Absorbed Glass Mat construction wraps every plate in fibrous matting, holding the electrolyte in place and cushioning the plates against the vibration that breaks down conventional flooded batteries.
Its patented QuadFlex layout gives you four terminals — two positive and two negative — plus a height spacer, so one battery covers a wide range of tray sizes and terminal orientations, and accessories such as heated gear or auxiliary lighting are easy to wire in. The battery is fully sealed and non-spill, so it can be mounted and transported in any position.
It arrives factory activated: pre-conditioned, fully charged and ready to install straight out of the box, with no acid to handle and no fluid levels to top up. A good pick for riders replacing a tired stock battery who want more cranking power and a longer service life.

- No initial charging or acid filling is required — the battery is factory activated and ships fully charged, so it can be installed straight from the box.
- Check your tray depth and terminal orientation before fitting: use the QuadFlex posts on whichever side suits your leads, and fit the included 9mm bottom spacer if you need extra height.
- Use the supplied M6 screws, terminal hardware and 4mm Allen key; tighten terminal screws firmly but do not overtighten, as stripped posts are not covered by normal wear.
- Fit the supplied caps over any unused terminals to prevent shorting against the frame, seat base or loose tools.
- Disconnect the negative lead first when removing a battery and reconnect it last when installing, to reduce the risk of shorting through the chassis.
- Keep the case and terminals clean and dry — wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth; never open the battery, add water or add acid, as it is a sealed maintenance-free unit.
- Use only a charger with an AGM setting. Do not use an unregulated or high-rate flooded/'boost' charger, which can overheat and damage AGM plates.
- If the bike is stored or ridden infrequently, keep the battery on a maintenance (trickle) charger or top it up periodically — AGM self-discharge is low but not zero, and leaving it flat for long periods shortens its life.
- Investigate persistent flat batteries rather than just recharging: check for parasitic drains and confirm the charging system output, since over- or under-charging will kill any battery.
- The battery can be mounted and transported in any position, but still secure it properly in the tray so it cannot shift or vibrate against surrounding components.
