Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol or harsh chemicals as these degrade the shell and liner materials.
Clean the inner liner by hand using mild shampoo and lukewarm water; allow to air-dry fully before riding — do not use a tumble dryer or direct heat.
Clean the visor with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm water; avoid abrasive cloths that may scratch the optical surface.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and extreme temperatures — UV exposure and chemical fumes accelerate material degradation.
Do not hang the helmet by its chin strap for extended periods, as this can deform the retention system.
Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) regularly for wear, fraying or damage; replace immediately if compromised.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the EPS liner is single-use and may be internally compromised.
