• Helmet

Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive pads or strong chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the shell finish and underlying materials.
Remove the inner liner and cheek pads if they are detachable and hand or machine wash them on a gentle cycle; always follow any care labels on the padding.
Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling and wearing; do not use direct heat sources such as a hair dryer or place the helmet near a heater.
Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system before each ride for signs of fraying, wear or damage; replace immediately if compromised.
Replace the helmet after any impact, even when no visible damage is evident — the EPS liner compresses permanently on impact and will not provide the same protection again.
Store the helmet in its bag (if supplied) or wrapped in a soft cloth in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, paint fumes and household chemicals, all of which can weaken shell and foam materials over time.
As a general guideline, consider replacing any motorcycle helmet five years from the date of manufacture, or earlier if the liner, shell or strap system shows signs of deterioration.
