Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the shell finish.
Clean the inner liner by hand with warm water and mild shampoo; allow to air dry fully before wearing.
Wipe the visor with a clean microfibre cloth; never use paper towels or dry cloths that may scratch the lens surface.
Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) regularly for wear, fraying or damage before each ride.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuels and solvents; UV exposure and chemical contact degrade shell materials over time.
Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the helmet during storage.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is apparent — internal structure may be compromised.
Follow the manufacturer's recommended replacement interval; most helmets should be replaced every five years from date of first use regardless of apparent condition.
