Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the shell and finish.
Wipe the face shield or visor with a clean, damp microfibre cloth; avoid wiping when dry to prevent scratching the lens surface.
If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it in warm water with a mild detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before reinserting.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical fumes, which can degrade EPS foam and shell materials over time.
Inspect the chin strap and retention buckle before each ride for signs of fraying, cracking, or damage; replace immediately if any are found.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even without visible external damage, the internal EPS liner may be compromised and will no longer provide rated protection.
Check the fit each time the helmet is worn; the helmet should sit level and feel snug without pressure points or excessive movement.
Adhere to the manufacturer's recommended replacement interval, typically indicated on a label inside the helmet (commonly five years from date of manufacture).
