The LS2 FF818 Storm III Visor is a genuine replacement shield made specifically for the LS2 FF818 Storm III helmet. It is moulded from 3D optically correct "Class A" polycarbonate, so the view stays true to shape with minimal distortion across the field of vision.
It suits riders who need to replace a scratched, pitted or damaged shield, or who simply want a spare clear visor on hand. Scratch-resistant and UV-resistant surface treatments help it stand up to grit, weather and sun exposure over time.
The visor is Pinlock Max Vision ready for riders who want to add an anti-fog insert (sold separately), and it fits LS2's quick release system for tool-free changes at the roadside or in the garage.

- Fit and remove the visor using the LS2 quick release mechanism only — no tools are required, and forcing the shield can damage the plates or the visor tabs.
- Check the visor sits flush against the eyeport seal and latches closed properly before riding.
- Wash with lukewarm water and a mild soap using a soft, clean microfibre cloth; rinse thoroughly and pat dry rather than rubbing.
- Soften dried insects and road grime by laying a damp cloth over them for a few minutes before wiping, so grit is not dragged across the surface.
- Do not use petrol, solvents, ammonia-based glass cleaners, abrasive polishes, paper towel or scouring pads — these attack the polycarbonate and its scratch-resistant coating.
- If fitting a Pinlock Max Vision insert (sold separately), clean the inner surface first and handle the insert by its edges; the anti-fog coating is soft and marks easily.
- Store the visor in a soft bag or the helmet bag, away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as car parcel shelves or garage heaters.
- Replace the visor once it is deeply scratched, hazed, crazed or chipped, as damage scatters light badly at night and in low sun.
- Avoid stickers, tape or adhesive residue on the shield, and keep the visor open when the helmet is not in use to allow the liner to dry out.
