- Clean the visor with a soft, damp microfibre cloth — allow insects or debris to soak briefly in water before wiping to avoid scratching the surface.
- Never use solvent-based cleaners, petrol, acetone, or abrasive cloths; these will permanently damage the mirror coating.
- For the inner surface, use only water or a purpose-made anti-fog cleaner applied with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- Store the visor in a dust-free bag or protective case away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve the coating.
- Inspect the visor regularly for cracks, deep scratches, or chips; replace it immediately if any damage impairs vision.
- Fit and remove the visor using the helmet's release mechanism — do not force the locking tabs as this may crack the visor or damage the pivot points.
