Liqui Moly Motorbike Engine Flush Shooter is a pre-oil-change cleaning additive for motorcycles with four-stroke petrol engines. It is poured into warm engine oil shortly before a service to loosen deposits inside the engine, then drained away with the old oil.
The fluid dissolves sludge and lacquer formers and holds oil-soluble and oil-insoluble residues in suspension, so they leave the engine with the used oil rather than staying behind to contaminate the fresh fill. Starting a service with a cleaner oil circuit lets the new oil and filter do their job properly.
Suited to home mechanics and workshops servicing road, adventure and off-road four-strokes, including machines with wet clutches. One 80 ml can treats a single oil change on most motorcycle sumps.

- Add the full 80 ml can to warm engine oil immediately before an oil change — one can suits 0.8–2 litres of oil.
- With the flush added, let the engine idle for approximately 10 minutes; do not ride the bike or load the engine during this time.
- Drain the oil straight after the idling period and fit a new oil filter before refilling with fresh oil to the manufacturer's specification.
- Do not leave the flush in the engine beyond the recommended idling time or use it as an oil supplement.
- For sumps larger than 2 litres, scale the dose to the oil capacity rather than under-treating.
- How often you use it depends on how contaminated the oil circuit is and the quality of oil previously run — heavily neglected engines benefit most.
- Safe to use in engines with wet clutches, so no need to separate clutch and engine oil systems on shared-sump motorcycles.
- Keep the can upright and sealed, and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight until use.
- Use the contents in one go — the shooter is a single-dose can and is not intended for partial use and long-term resealing.
