A genuine Leatt replacement goggle lens in a light grey tint with 58% visible light transmission — a mild tint that knocks the edge off glare without darkening the track or trail. - Handle the lens by its edges to keep fingerprints and oils off the optical surfaces.
- Rinse dust, mud and grit away with clean lukewarm water before wiping — dry-wiping a dirty lens is the fastest way to scratch it.
- Blot the outer lens dry with a clean microfibre cloth or goggle bag; avoid paper towel and clothing.
- Do not scrub or rub the inner lens: the anti-fog function lives in the polymer and the inner surface is easily marked. Let it air dry naturally.
- Avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner, glass cleaner and alcohol-based products on either lens surface.
- If the lens gets soaked in a wet race, remove it from the frame and let the goggle and lens dry fully at room temperature before storing.
- Store in a soft goggle bag or the original packaging, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as a closed vehicle or an exhaust.
- Check the tear-off and roll-off posts and the lens seating in the frame before each ride, and make sure the lens is fully clipped into the frame channel all the way around.
- Replace the lens if it is cracked, deeply scratched or has been impacted — a compromised lens will not protect your eyes as intended.
- Match tint to conditions: at 58% VLT this is a light tint, so keep a clear or higher-VLT lens on hand for dusk, night or heavily shaded riding.
