The Leatt Flat CleanTech bladder is a 2.0-litre (70oz) hydration reservoir supplied complete with a 1 m tube and a 45° bite valve. Its low-profile horizontal shape sits flat and low in the pack, keeping the weight of the water close to your back rather than swinging around behind you.

The trick is the zipped centre baffle. Zipped up, the bladder holds its flat shape and stops liquid surging as you ride; unzipped, it opens right out so you can wash the inside surfaces properly and hang it to dry on the internal and external loops. The tube is burst tested and, like the bladder, is FDA and EU approved and free of phthalates, BPA and PVC.

Ideal as a replacement or spare bladder for off-road, enduro and trail riders running a Leatt hydration pack, with a push-lock hose connector and auto shut-off valve so you can pull the tube off for refilling without spilling a drop.

Zip the centre baffle closed before riding so the bladder holds its flat shape and the water does not surge around in the pack.
Disconnect the tube at the push-lock connector when filling or removing the bladder — the automatic shut-off valve stops the flow while the hose is off.
Use the one-touch quick-release valve to detach the bite valve on the hands-free tube system.
On the hands-free setup, fit the helmet Velcro patch and route the tube through the loops so it stays put on rough ground.
Rinse the bladder, tube and bite valve with clean water after every ride, before any residue has a chance to dry inside.
Unzip the centre baffle to open the bladder out flat and clean the inner surfaces properly, then rinse thoroughly.
Hang it up to dry using the internal and external hanging loops or the tethered top clip, and leave the baffle unzipped until the inside is completely dry.
Store it dry and unsealed in a cool spot out of direct sunlight; don't leave a filled bladder sitting in a hot vehicle.
Avoid abrasive scourers and harsh solvents on the bladder film, tube and bite valve.
Check the tube, connector and bite valve for splits, leaks or perished seals before long rides and replace worn parts.
