A genuine Leatt replacement buckle set for Leatt 5.5 boots, finished in blue and supplied as a pair.
Buckles take a beating on off-road boots — roost, rock strikes and repeated closing all take their toll. Keeping a spare set on the shelf means a damaged or worn buckle doesn't cost you a ride day, and it lets you refresh the look of a boot that still has plenty of life left in the sole and chassis.
Check your boot model and buckle position before ordering, as buckle fitments differ across Leatt boot ranges and model years.

- Confirm the buckle position and your exact boot model before fitting — buckle designs vary between Leatt boot ranges and model years.
- Retain the original mounting hardware from the old buckle unless replacement hardware is supplied with your boot.
- Do the buckles up firmly but avoid forcing a closure that isn't aligned; misalignment is usually a sign the strap setting needs adjusting rather than more force.
- Rinse mud, sand and grit out of the buckle and strap teeth with fresh water after riding, as trapped debris is the most common cause of buckle wear and poor engagement.
- Use mild soap and a soft brush for stubborn dirt; avoid solvents, petrol and harsh degreasers on the boot and its hardware.
- Allow boots to dry naturally in a well-ventilated spot, away from direct sunlight, heaters and open flame.
- Inspect the buckles and straps before each ride for cracks, distortion or a loose mount, and replace any that no longer latch positively.
- Store boots somewhere cool and dry with the buckles lightly closed to help the straps hold their shape.
