- Before installation, confirm the assembly is compatible with your specific make, model, and year by consulting the Whites Motorcycle Parts fitment guide or your dealer.
- Disconnect the clutch cable before removing the old lever assembly, and note the cable routing for reassembly.
- Apply a small amount of appropriate grease or lubricant to the lever pivot bolt and pivot point during installation to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.
- Torque the pivot bolt to your motorcycle manufacturer's specification — do not over-tighten, as this will restrict lever movement.
- After installation, adjust clutch cable free-play to your motorcycle's specified range before riding.
