- Before each use, inspect the clamp mechanism for cracks, deformation, or worn contact surfaces.
- Ensure the chock is bolted or anchored to the trailer or floor surface before loading the motorcycle.
- Roll the front wheel fully into the chock until the clamp engages the tyre securely before releasing the bike.
- Use additional tie-down straps to the handlebars or frame as supplementary restraint during road transport — the chock alone is not a substitute for strapping.
