Measure your head circumference above the brows and compare it to KYT's size chart before ordering; the helmet should sit snug with no movement when you shake your head.
Fasten and adjust the retention system correctly before every ride — an unfastened or loose strap will not hold the helmet in place in a crash.
Clean the shell with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth; keep petrol, solvents, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive pads away from the shell, visor and vents.
Soften insects and road grime by laying a damp cloth over the visor for a few minutes rather than scrubbing, then wipe with a clean microfibre cloth to avoid scratching.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry the interior lining; wash by hand in cool water with mild soap and air dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
Replace the visor once it is scratched or hazed enough to affect vision at night, and use only visors made for the KYT TT-Revo so the seal and mechanism work as intended.
Keep the intake and exhaust vents clear of insects and debris so airflow and demisting stay effective.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place in a helmet bag or on a padded stand — never hang it by the chin strap or rest it on a mirror or handlebar, and keep it out of prolonged direct sun.
Retire the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage, and do not paint, drill or apply solvent-based adhesives to the shell.
