Description

The KYT TT Revo is the next step on from the brand's well-known TT-Course, built as a full face helmet for riders who split their time between the road and the track. The aerodynamic shell is moulded from advanced thermoplastic, and the shape has been developed to stay settled at speed while keeping wind noise down.

This Plain Matt Black version keeps things understated, with no graphics, and pairs an updated ventilation layout with a refined comfort lining and a straightforward visor mechanism that opens up a wider field of view. A sensible pick for sports and naked bike riders after a track-bred lid for everyday use.

Operations & maintenance

Measure the circumference of your head about 2 cm above the eyebrows and check it against KYT's size chart before ordering; the helmet should sit snugly with no movement when you shake your head.
Always fasten and tension the chin strap before riding, and check the retention system for fraying or damage each time you put the helmet on.
Clean the shell with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild soap only. Avoid petrol, solvents, thinners, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive polishes, which can attack the thermoplastic shell and its finish.
Soak stubborn insects off the visor with a damp cloth rather than scrubbing them dry, and dry the visor with a soft microfibre cloth to avoid scratching the coating.
Keep the matt finish looking even by wiping in straight passes and skipping wax or gloss products, which can leave patchy shine.
Air the comfort lining out after every ride and let the helmet dry naturally at room temperature; never use a hairdryer, heater or direct sunlight to speed it up.
Operate the visor mechanism gently and keep the pivots free of grit; replace a visor that is heavily scratched or cracked rather than riding with reduced vision.
Store the helmet in a helmet bag in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, and never rest it on a mirror, handlebar or hot exhaust.
Replace the helmet after any impact, even if there is no visible damage to the shell, and never modify the shell by drilling, painting or applying strong adhesives.
