The Pro Circuit T-6 slip-on silencer is a direct bolt-on replacement muffler for the Kawasaki KX250F, covering the 2017-2020 model years. It fits to the standard header pipe, so it can be installed on its own or paired with an aftermarket head pipe later on.

Supplied with a removable spark arrestor, it suits trail and off-road riding in areas where a spark arrestor is required, while the arrestor can be taken out for closed-course use. Please note this silencer is not MA sound legal, so it is not suitable for Motorcycling Australia sanctioned events subject to sound testing.

  • Bolts to the standard head pipe — no full-system replacement required
  • Removable spark arrestor included for trail and forestry riding
  • Not MA sound legal — intended for recreational and closed-course use

  • Only fit or remove the silencer once the exhaust has fully cooled — exhaust components retain heat well after the engine is switched off.
  • Check that the silencer seals squarely on the head pipe and that the mounting hardware is evenly tightened before the first ride; re-check after the first outing and periodically thereafter, as vibration can loosen exhaust fasteners.
  • Inspect the head pipe-to-silencer joint for gasket wear or blow-by (soot staining at the joint is the usual sign) and replace the seal as needed.
  • Silencer packing is a consumable — inspect it regularly and repack when the exhaust note becomes noticeably louder or raspier, or if performance falls off. Running with degraded packing accelerates wear on the internals.
  • Fit the spark arrestor when riding in state forests, national parks or any area where a spark arrestor is mandated; it can be removed for closed-course use. Keep the arrestor screen clean and check it for carbon build-up or damage.
  • Wash with mild soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh solvents, degreasers and abrasive pads, which can dull the finish and lift decals.
  • After pressure washing, avoid directing high-pressure water into the silencer outlet, and run the engine briefly to clear any moisture from the system.
  • Dry the silencer thoroughly and store the bike in a dry, ventilated space to limit internal corrosion during long layoffs.
  • As this silencer is not MA sound legal, confirm the sound requirements of any event or riding area before use.
