The Kovix KCL10-150 is an alarmed hardened chain lock designed to secure motorcycles, scooters and other powersports vehicles to fixed anchor points. The 10mm hexagonal hardened chain links resist cutting and leverage attacks, while the integrated alarm deters opportunistic theft before it begins.
At 1.5 metres in length, the chain provides enough reach to loop through a wheel, frame and ground anchor in most situations. It suits riders who want a portable, high-visibility deterrent for everyday use at home, work or on the road.

- Before first use, ensure the alarm battery is charged or installed according to the instructions supplied with the lock.
- Test the alarm function by triggering movement with the lock secured before relying on it in the field.
- Lubricate the lock cylinder periodically with a quality lock lubricant (PTFE-based); avoid petroleum-based sprays that can attract grit.
- Clean chain links with a soft cloth and mild degreaser to remove road grime; rinse and dry thoroughly before storage.
- Inspect chain links and the lock body regularly for signs of wear, corrosion or damage — replace if integrity is compromised.
- Store the chain coiled loosely in a dry location; avoid prolonged exposure to moisture to prevent corrosion of the links.
- When anchoring, keep as much slack as possible off the ground to make grinding and cutting attacks more difficult.
- Do not force the lock cylinder if stiff — apply lubricant first rather than applying excessive torque.
