Kovix Reminder Cable Orange 1500mm

The Kovix Reminder Cable is a brightly coloured coiled safety cable designed to be used alongside a disc lock. It acts as a physical prompt to remove your lock before riding, helping prevent costly damage to your wheel, brake caliper, or lock itself.

At 1500mm in length, the cable provides enough reach to loop from your disc lock to your handlebars, throttle, or fork leg. The vivid orange colouring ensures it stays in your line of sight, making it a straightforward and practical addition to any motorcycle security routine.

• 1500mm length suits a wide range of motorcycle configurations
• Vivid orange colouring keeps the cable clearly visible before you ride
• Coiled design returns to a compact form for easy storage
• Attaches between your disc lock and handlebar or throttle as a ride-away reminder
• One size fits all — compatible with Kovix disc locks and most other brands

• Reminder cable

Before locking your bike, loop one end of the cable around your handlebar, throttle, or fork leg.
Attach the other end to the shackle of your disc lock before closing it.
When you return to the bike, the taut cable will physically remind you to remove the disc lock before riding.
Store the cable coiled to preserve its shape and prevent kinking.
Wipe clean with a lightly damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents or harsh chemicals that may degrade the outer coating.
Inspect the cable periodically for fraying, cracking, or damaged end fittings, and replace if any deterioration is found.
Do not use this cable as a security device — it is a reminder aid only and provides no theft resistance.
