Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using the correct machinery — do not attempt to fit it by hand.
Confirm the tyre size matches your rim and that the load and speed requirements in your owner's manual are met before fitting.
Ride gently for the first stretch after fitting to let the new tread surface bed in, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and sharp lean angles.
Check inflation pressure when the tyre is cold and set it to the pressure specified by your vehicle manufacturer; recheck at least monthly and before longer rides.
Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded objects and uneven wear, and replace the tyre if the tread reaches the legal minimum depth or if the casing is damaged.
