Description

The Kenda K785 Millville II is the next generation of Kenda's long-running Millville motocross tyre, and it has earned a solid following on motocross and off-road circuits. This 120/100-18 rear fitment is built for soft to intermediate terrain, where the directional, paddle-style tread can dig for drive rather than skate across the surface.

It suits enduro, trail and motocross riders running an 18-inch rear wheel who want dependable bite in loam, sand and freshly tilled dirt without giving up tread life. The compound is formulated to balance grip against durability, and tie-bar knob support keeps the tread blocks stable under load. Supplied as a tube-type tyre with a 68M load and speed rating.

Operations & maintenance

This is a tube-type tyre — fit it with a suitable inner tube and rim lock; do not run it tubeless.
Mount the tyre so the tread's directional arrow matches the wheel's normal direction of rotation, or drive and braking performance will suffer.
Use tyre-fitting lubricant or soapy water on the beads during fitting; avoid petroleum-based products, which degrade rubber.
Take care with tyre levers around the tube and rim tape to avoid pinching or puncturing the tube.
Check and retorque the rim lock and valve stem nut after the first ride, then periodically.
Set cold tyre pressures to the figures recommended by your motorcycle's manufacturer for the terrain you're riding, and check them before every ride.
Allow a short bedding-in period on new rubber — grip improves once the mould release finish has scrubbed off the knobs.
Inspect the tread regularly for torn, chunked or folded knobs, cuts, and exposed carcass; replace the tyre if any are found.
Store spare tyres flat or upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, fuels, solvents and electric motors that generate ozone.
This is an off-road pattern — confirm road-legal requirements in your state before using it on public roads.
