The Kenda K772 Carlsbad is an off-road rear tyre in the popular 120/100-18 fitment used by enduro, trail and dual-sport machines running an 18-inch rear wheel. It is a tube-type tyre with a 4-ply-rating carcass, so it must be fitted with an inner tube.

It suits riders replacing a worn rear on a full-size off-road bike and wanting a straightforward, no-fuss knobby in a common size. Sold individually as a single tyre.

Please confirm the fitment, load and speed requirements specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer before purchase. Tube and rim tape are not included.

  • Fitting is best carried out by a qualified tyre technician; this is a tube-type tyre and must be fitted with a suitable inner tube and rim tape.
  • Observe the rotation direction and any fitting markings on the sidewall, and seat the bead evenly before final inflation.
  • Use a tyre-mounting lubricant rather than oil or solvent-based products, and take care not to pinch the tube with levers during fitting.
  • If your rim is fitted with a rim lock, tighten it only once the bead is correctly seated, and re-check its tension after the first ride.
  • Check and set pressures when the tyre is cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle manufacturer for your load and riding conditions.
  • Re-check pressures and rim lock tension regularly, particularly if you run reduced pressures for off-road traction, as low pressures increase the risk of the tyre moving on the rim and tearing the tube valve.
  • Ride gently for the first ride or two to scuff in the new surface before using full grip and power.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, torn or missing knobs, embedded stones, uneven wear and any sidewall damage, and replace the tyre if the carcass is exposed or damaged.
  • Do not exceed the load and speed rating marked on the sidewall, and do not use a damaged or repaired-beyond-limits tyre off-road at speed.
  • Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and fuels, oils and solvents.
