K8 3.0 Knee Brace (RT) | Carbon/White Large Right

The POD Active K8 3.0 is the brand's flagship hinged knee brace, developed over five years as a full redesign of the well-regarded K8 2.0. It pairs a forged carbon composite frame with POD's Human Motion Hinge and a full-coverage CE Level 2 impact system, so you get ligament and joint control plus genuine impact absorption in one brace.

Built for motocross, enduro and other high-impact action sports, the K8 3.0 uses an adaptive cuff and a live adaptive lower frame to conform to different leg shapes and to muscle movement, rather than clamping a fixed shell around the leg. The bonded HEX Grip liner anchors the brace to the leg to limit migration during a moto, while embossed channels help move air across the skin.

Fit the brace on the right leg with the hinges centred over the knee joint, then tension the straps in POD's numbered order so the brace sits square and does not rotate.
Fine-tune the fit using the adjustable strap ends and the Quick-Loc clips; the brace should be firm enough not to migrate during a moto without restricting circulation.
Choose the extension control that suits your riding and range of motion — 10°–20° (mid grey) for more restriction, 20°–30° (dark grey) for more freedom — and make sure it is seated correctly before riding.
Wear the brace over a knee-brace sock or a thin, smooth base layer to reduce rubbing on long rides.
Clean the HEX Grip liner and frame with fresh water and a mild soap, then wipe dry; the liner is bonded into the brace, so do not machine wash, tumble dry or soak the complete brace.
Avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and other harsh chemicals on the carbon frame and hinge components.
Air dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and hot exhausts — never dry the brace on or near a heat source.
Rinse off mud, sand and grit after wet or dusty rides, paying attention to the hinge area so debris does not work into the mechanism.
Inspect the frame, hinge, straps, clips and impact padding before each ride, and check the brace carefully after any heavy crash — replace damaged or cracked components rather than continuing to ride on them.
Store flat or hanging in a cool, dry place with the straps loosely done up, so the cuffs and lower frame keep their shape.
