Description

The Thor Terrain Jacket is a rugged textile riding jacket built for off-road and adventure use, finished in a understated Black/Charcoal colourway. It is designed around weather protection and freedom of movement, pairing abrasion-resistant panelling with a DWR-treated shell and Hipora membrane so you can keep riding when the conditions turn.

It suits trail, enduro and dual-sport riders who want one layer that adapts through the day. Zip-off sleeves turn it into a vest as the temperature climbs, and the jacket packs down into its own belt so it can be carried on the bike rather than left behind. This listing is for size Large, part number 2920-0699.

Operations & maintenance

Always follow the care label sewn into the jacket — it takes precedence over any general advice.
Before washing, close all zippers (pockets, vents and sleeve zips), fasten the main closure and empty the pockets so hardware cannot snag the fabric or the membrane.
Wash separately from abrasive or heavily soiled garments, and rinse thoroughly; detergent residue left in the fabric reduces the breathability of the Hipora membrane.
Avoid fabric softener, bleach and solvent-based cleaners — these break down the DWR finish and can damage the waterproof membrane and taped zippers.
If water stops beading on the shell and instead soaks in, the DWR has worn off: clean the jacket first, then reapply a wash-in or spray-on water-repellent treatment made for technical outerwear.
After muddy rides, hose or sponge off grit while it is still wet rather than letting it dry and abrade the rip-stop panels; let the jacket dry naturally away from direct heat sources such as heaters, exhausts or campfires.
Keep the zippers clean and free of dust and sand, and work them gently — forcing a gritty taped zipper is the most common way these jackets are damaged.
When converting to a vest, unzip the sleeves fully before pulling them free, then stow them in the rear compartment so the loose zip tape is not left exposed.
Use the integrated belt to pack the jacket down for carrying on the bike, but avoid storing it compressed for long periods — long-term, hang it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight.
Inspect seams, zip tapes and the shoulder and elbow panels periodically for wear or delamination, and repair small tears early before they spread through the fabric.
This jacket's listed construction does not confirm any impact protectors — if you ride with body armour, wear a separate armoured layer underneath.
