Description

The MotoDry Hotham is a heated winter glove built for riders who keep going once the temperature drops. A leather and textile chassis is paired with a battery-powered heating system offering three settings, so you can dial the warmth up on a frosty start and wind it back as the day warms.

Behind the heating element sits a waterproof, breathable lining and 150g 3M Thinsulate insulation, with a gusseted cuff to seal warmth in and the weather out. Raised knuckle protection and a dual strap closure cover the practical side of a cold-weather riding glove.

Well suited to winter commuting, early-morning starts and cold-climate touring.

Operations & maintenance

Charge the batteries fully before the first ride, and recharge them after each use rather than storing them flat.
Fit the charged batteries into the cuff pockets and check the leads are seated before pulling the gloves on, so the wiring is not pinched or strained.
Start on the highest heat setting to warm the gloves through, then step down to a lower setting — this noticeably extends run time towards the quoted 7 hours.
Wipe the leather clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners and harsh detergents.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry clean, and never immerse the gloves in water while the batteries or heating elements are fitted.
If the gloves get soaked, remove the batteries and air dry them at room temperature away from direct heat sources such as heaters, exhausts or radiators.
Condition the leather occasionally with a suitable leather dressing to stop it drying out and stiffening.
Remove the batteries when storing the gloves for an extended period, and keep both the gloves and batteries in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Inspect the heating wiring, straps and stitching periodically; stop using the heating function if you notice damaged leads or a battery that will no longer hold charge.
Use only MotoDry replacement batteries and the supplied-type charger for this glove.

Pretty good but…

The look is good but the batteries are huge and wear it on a leather jacket is complicate, I’ve used with 0 degrees and the fingers stays just warm. Nothing special but it worths the money.
