The HJC V31 Carbon is a full-face road helmet built around a Premium Integrated Matrix Plus (PIM+) carbon fibre shell, delivering a meaningful weight reduction compared with conventional composite helmets without compromising structural integrity. It is aimed at road and touring riders who want everyday wearability in a lightweight, well-ventilated package.

The Solid colourway presents a clean, unadorned finish suited to a wide range of motorcycles and riding styles. Available in a size run from XS through to 2XL.

  • Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based cleaners or solvents as these can degrade the shell finish and visor coating.
  • Wipe the visor with a clean, damp cloth only — never wipe a dry visor, as dust particles will cause scratching.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in cool water with a gentle detergent; allow to air dry completely before reinserting.
  • Inspect and clear all ventilation inlets and exhaust ports periodically to ensure unrestricted airflow.
  • Check the chin strap webbing, buckle, and D-rings for wear, fraying, or deformation before each ride.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical products, ideally in a helmet bag.
  • Replace the helmet after any impact significant enough to stress the shell, even if no external damage is visible — the EPS liner is designed to absorb a single impact and its protective capacity cannot be restored.
  • If a Pinlock insert is fitted, handle it with clean hands and avoid touching the inner surface to prevent contamination and micro-scratches.
