The Smart HJC 11B is HJC's second-generation entry-level Bluetooth communication system, built to sit entirely inside a compatible HJC helmet rather than clamp onto the outside. With the control unit, battery and speakers integrated into the shell, the helmet keeps its original weight balance and aerodynamic profile, and there is nothing protruding to catch the wind.
It runs on Bluetooth 5.1 with two-way rider-to-pillion or rider-to-rider intercom, plus universal intercom for pairing with other brands. Audio multitasking, sound equalising and advanced noise control keep calls, music and navigation prompts clear at road speeds, while the HD speakers add body to mid and low tones.
Suited to riders who want factory-style integration and straightforward everyday functions — calls, music and a second-rider link — in matt black to match the helmet interior. Check your helmet model before ordering, as the 11B fits second-generation Smart HJC-ready helmets only.

- Confirm your helmet is a second-generation Smart HJC-ready model before fitting — the 11B will not install correctly in helmets built for the 10B or 20B systems.
- Install the main unit, control unit, speakers and microphone into the helmet's dedicated recesses and channels so nothing presses against your head or interferes with the visor mechanism.
- Choose the correct microphone for your helmet style: boom-type for modular and open-face, wired type for full-face.
- Position the microphone close to your mouth and clear of direct airflow to get the best out of the noise control.
- Charge the unit fully before first use and top it up after long rides; avoid leaving it flat for extended periods.
- Check for firmware updates from HJC periodically to keep intercom pairing and audio performance current.
- Wipe the control unit and speaker grilles with a soft, slightly damp cloth only — do not use solvents, alcohol or compressed air, and never submerge any component.
- Allow the helmet interior and microphone foam to dry fully after wet rides or washing before charging or using the system.
- Remove or fully charge the unit before long-term storage, and keep the helmet in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to open the main unit or replace the internal battery yourself; refer any faults to an authorised HJC dealer.
