- Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can damage the shell and graphic.
- Clean the interior liner by hand using lukewarm water and mild detergent; allow to air dry completely before wearing or storing.
- Clean the visor with a soft, damp cloth; never wipe a dry visor as dust can scratch the lens surface.
- When flipping the chin bar up or down, operate the mechanism smoothly — do not force it if resistance is felt.
- Inspect the chin bar locking mechanism periodically to confirm it engages securely before each ride.
- Store the helmet in its bag or a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is apparent — internal EPS foam does not recover after a hard strike.
- Replace the visor if it becomes heavily scratched, as optical distortion impairs visibility.
- Avoid resting the helmet on fuel tanks or painted surfaces with the visor open, as fuel residue can craze the lens.
