Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, thinners or abrasive cleaners that can damage the shell or finish.
Clean the visor by soaking it in warm, soapy water and wiping gently with a soft microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as trapped grit will scratch the lens surface.
Lift the chin bar before removing or fitting the helmet to reduce strain on the modular hinge mechanism.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash with mild detergent; allow all pieces to air-dry completely before reassembly — do not use a dryer.
Inspect the chin strap, retention mechanism and modular latch regularly for wear or play; do not ride if the latch does not click and lock positively.
Do not use fuel, silicone sprays or chemical aerosols near the shell, visor, liner or foam — these can degrade materials and compromise protection.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is apparent — internal EPS foam does not visibly deform after absorbing energy.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, UV exposure, and fuel or solvent vapours; use a helmet bag to protect the visor and shell from scratches.
