The HJC RPHA 71 Carbon is HJC's flagship full-face helmet, constructed with a carbon fibre composite shell for an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. It is aimed at serious road and sport riders who want a premium, lightweight lid built for extended use in varied conditions.

The Hamil edition arrives in HJC's MC-3H colourway — a striking graphic finish that sets it apart from solid-colour options in the RPHA 71 Carbon range. Sizing spans XS through to 2XL, making it accessible to a broad range of riders.

  • Carbon fibre composite shell (PIM+ — Premium Integrated Matrix Plus) for low weight and high rigidity
  • Full-face design optimised for sport and road riding
  • Removable and washable interior liner
  • Pinlock-ready anti-scratch visor with wide field of vision
  • Multi-channel ventilation with adjustable intake and exhaust vents
  • Hamil graphic in MC-3H colourway
  • Available in XS, S, M, L, and 2XL

  • Clean the outer shell with mild soap and lukewarm water; never use petroleum-based solvents, acetone, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the carbon fibre surface and finish.
  • Clean the visor with a damp cloth or a visor-safe cleaner; avoid dry-wiping to prevent micro-scratches that impair vision.
  • Remove the interior liner before washing; follow the care label — typically a gentle hand or machine wash in cold water, then air dry flat away from direct heat.
  • Do not use a tumble dryer or compressed air to dry the interior padding, as heat and force can degrade foam over time.
  • Inspect the visor locking mechanism and seal regularly; replace the visor if it is cracked, deeply scratched, or discoloured, as optical clarity is critical for safe riding.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — the EPS liner compresses permanently on impact and cannot be inspected externally.
  • Store the helmet in its protective bag or a breathable case, away from direct sunlight, fuels, and chemicals that degrade the shell resin and interior materials.
  • As a general industry guideline, retire and replace the helmet after approximately five years of regular use, or sooner if the shell, retention system, or liner show signs of degradation.
