Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap only — never use petrol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the shell and finish.
Clean the visor with a clean microfibre cloth and lukewarm water; allow insects or debris to soak before wiping to avoid scratching the optical surface.
Insert the Pinlock 120 lens inside the visor before riding in cold or humid conditions; ensure the seal around the perimeter is fully seated.
Remove the interior cheek pads and comfort liner before washing — hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before refitting.
Do not tumble-dry, iron, or expose the interior padding to direct heat sources.
Store the helmet in the supplied bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and fuel vapours, which can degrade the EPS liner over time.
Replace the helmet immediately following any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — EPS liners absorb energy once and cannot be relied upon again.
Check the DD-ring and chin strap webbing periodically for wear, fraying, or damage; replace if compromised.
As a general guideline, consider retiring the helmet after five years of use regardless of visible condition, as materials degrade with age and UV exposure.
Do not apply adhesive stickers, paint, or aftermarket accessories to the shell without confirming compatibility with the manufacturer, as some adhesives and chemicals can weaken composite shell materials.
